My 30th Blog!

So im like super bad at the whole titling my blogs thing. Im just not that creative. haha Anyways...today has been a long and hard day! I had to get up at 6:30 and leave at 7:15 to go pack up personal property for an auction that my dad is doing in a few weeks. It was the first day so we didnt exactly know what to expect. Its actually not as bad as some of the other auctions we've worked on. Either way its going through somebodys junk. We did find some cool stuff though, theres an organ and piano and a really really old record player. Its not electric, its a crank. They also had like a jillion records (which i have to sort through tomorrow) and we played some of them. It made me feel like I was back in the 20's (a lot of it being Frank Sinatra and such). Then, me and Bob found an old keepsake chest. Full of old baby clothes, crosages from proms and weddings, old senior class pictures, dolls and toys, and some old love letters. The letters were like forty years old and one of them was dated today. 6/21/68. That was a long time ago! haha Anyways...it got me to thinkin. The lady who is selling the house is the daughter of the parents who lived there. They died and now shes selling and moving away. Well a lot of this stuff were going through is items that the parents saved from when she was born and some of it is their stuff. It made me realize that material things are just not even important. You cant take any of it with you once you pass away. It just ends up being sorted through by people your children employ to clean out your old house. In a way its really sad...but then again its just part of life I guess. Well, thats my spill for now! lol But I have to go...6:30 comes early!! Much love <333

It's amazing how we gather and gather and in the end... it doesn't matter. It's amazing how God shows us something in the simple things we do everyday. Good word.
