No Time To Breathe

That is my life. That one little sentence seems to sum it up. Like I spent this whole summer staying completely busy. Ecuador, Camp, Preparation for Fine Arts, and then National Fine Arts Festival. It has been crazy! The funny thing is, that each thing got here so slow and went by so fast. Now im at the door of starting my senior year. TOMORROW. Gosh, I really dont wanna go. I mean we go and work so hard at Fine Arts (and have lots of fun) then come home tired and have to go straight back to school...its really not fair! Now, dont get me wrong. I dont regret anything I did all summer. It really was an incredible summer, I guess my point is that school ruins everything. I just dont like it. I guess you could say that I have a severe case of Senioritis that ive had since I was at least a sophomore. haha I know that one day I will want to go back to highschool...but right now I cant think of why I would want to! Anyways...enough complaining about that.

I know that we just got off the van from Fine Arts but with next year being my last year and all ive been doing a lot of thinking. Ive totally scrathed prom of the to-do list and im doing everything i possibly can in Fine Arts. I want to compete in so much stuff that they will have no choice but to send me to Nationals in something. I also want to do everything with complete perfection and excellence. I dont want to do it halfway. The things I know for sure that I want to do is: Large Human Video, Small Human Video, Human Video Solo, Female Vocal Solo, Small Vocal Ensemble, and Worship. And I have a feeling that this list will continue to grow as the year goes on. Other considerations are Puppets, Songwriting, and Christian Band. Wow thats a lot of stuff! But its most definitely where my heart is. I know its not about the competetion but each year I find myself wanting to do more and more with ministry. There are so many different options out there! Its like I dont even know where to start! lol The theme is Extraordinary. Im excited to work with the theme. I think its pretty awesome.

Well, I guess thats all im gunna write for now! Keep everyone in your prayers as we go back to school. And keep fine arts in your prayers too...Districts is only 8 months away!!! =)

Your senior year begins tomorrow... embrace it. You have one more year to share your Jesus with your friends. Let your last year not only be a year of finishing strong academically, but let it be your greatest year to date of sharing your faith with your friends. Go outside the box. Look for those who are not a part of your social class. Leave school knowing you've done all you can to leave a witness in the hearts of your friends. Just as you have a passion for next year's Fine Arts competition... have a passion for those in your school. Let your faith arise and do something incredible in this last year. God has anointed you. Do something "extraordinary" this school year.
